Check 11th Class Result 2026 by Name – Without Roll Number

Lost your roll number slip, or never received it? You can still find your 11th class result by searching with your name. Not every board offers a name search on its main portal, but most do through their gazette or a dedicated search page. This guide explains the name-based methods for Punjab boards, FBISE, and KPK boards. For the full picture, our online result checking guide covers every method.

Check Result by Name Through the Gazette

The most reliable name-based method is the result gazette. Every board publishes a gazette PDF containing all candidates, and PDF readers let you search by name. Download your board’s gazette from our result gazette section, open it, and use Ctrl+F on desktop (or your PDF app’s search on mobile) to find your full name as printed on your admission form. If your name is common, also match your father’s name or school name shown next to it.

Boards With Direct Name Search

Some boards let you search by name right on their result portal. FBISE’s online result system includes a search by name option alongside roll number; enter your name and father’s name exactly as registered. BISE Malakand’s overall-results service also supports searching by name and father’s name. For other boards, the portal may be roll-number-only, in which case use the gazette method above. Board-specific instructions live on each board’s page, for example FBISE and BISE Lahore.

What to Do If Your Name Does Not Appear

First, try spelling variations: boards print the name exactly as your school submitted it, which sometimes differs from what you expect (Muhammad vs. Mohammad, missing middle names). Second, search by your father’s name instead. Third, confirm you are looking at the right board’s gazette; students sometimes check a neighboring board by mistake. If nothing works, your college’s exam branch can look up your roll number from their records, and then you can check by roll number normally.

Name Search vs Roll Number Search

Roll number search is faster and unambiguous, so use it whenever you have the slip. Name search is the fallback for lost slips, and it works best when you include the father’s name to narrow down common names. Both methods show the same official marks.

Check Result by Name FAQs

Can I check my 11th class result without a roll number?
Yes. Use the board’s gazette PDF and search by your name, or use a board portal that offers name search, like FBISE.

Why does my name not show in the gazette search?
Usually a spelling difference from the registered name. Try variations, or search by father’s name instead.

Is the gazette result official?
Yes. The gazette is published by the board itself and contains the same marks as the online portal.

Can I check by name through SMS?
No. SMS services need the roll number (some need a board keyword too). Name search only works online or in the gazette.
